Sunshine has also brought back the famed neelakurinji flowers that adorns the hills of Munnar into full bloom & painting the hill blue!
Presenting ‘Camp Neelakurinji – Munnar’ – A perfect opportunity to say hello to our beloved Kerala & get back to what we always do ‘appreciate & be in awe of her beauty’.
Spot Neelakurinji in full bloom, be swept off by the unique beauty and camp under a billion stars (Yep! The stars are back too 😀 ) at munnar’s highest campsite.
The campsite offers a breathtaking view of the Western Ghats, rolling tea plantations and the clouds filled valley on the Tamilnadu side. Located at higher altitudes above Munnar the camp is filled with some mesmerizing views of the Meesapulimala range.
Easily the highest campsite in Munnar, spend your day sipping a hot cup of tea, with a book, admiring the majestic meesapulimala peak from the campsite. Go on a sunrise hike and be swept off by the breathtaking view of clouds below you and the sun rising through the clouds. Visit a tea factory, learn how tea is being made, take a stroll through tea plantations, hike through tea plantations, sit around campfire on a cold night, listen to LIVE music, sing along, meet like-minded people, indulge in a bit of stargazing, forget your mobile phones, disconnect yourself from the hustle and bustle of everyday life & lose track of time!
You could also indulge in Kayaking, Zip lining, Zorbing etc at an additional cost
09:00 AM – Reach Munnar, Freshen up at a restaurant & finish breakfast
09:30 AM – Proceed on an off-road jeep safari to spot the famed Neelakurinji flowers
01.00 PM – Reach base camp for lunch
02:30 PM – Hop-on to an off-road jeep for a super bumpy ride to the camp
03:00 PM – Explore the Camp spot
04:00 PM – Hot tea/coffee
04:30 PM – Sunset hike to the nearby peak*
06:30 PM – Return to the camp spot for hot soup & Snacks
7.30 PM – Campfire, Icebreaking Session & Live Music*
8:30 PM – Dinner (Chapati, Rice, Chicken/Veg Curry & Salad)
Campfire will continue through the night. Retire into your tents as and when you wish to.
5.00 AM – Hot tea served & hike for a breathtaking Sunrise*
8.00 AM – Return to camp spot for breakfast (Bread Omelette, Poori Baaji, Fruits, Tea/Coffee)
11.00 AM – Hike to the basecamp through tea plantations
12.00 AM – Take dip in a waterfalls* & visit a small organic farm
1.30 PM – Reach basecamp for lunch. Lounge around base camp (Kayaking / Zipline etc could be done at an additional nominal cost)
4.00 – Start to the respective cities
