Review of a solo traveller DETOX FOR YOUR MUNDANE LIFE!! I would like to thank Sukanya, Berin and Chandru for organising and executing this amazing weekend getaway. Travel: From Chennai- kumily and return, we travelled in a convenient sleeper bus. The journey was 10 hours approx. i was never bored a single moment because i met new people and the organisers and engaged in a deep, interesting and fun conversations. Everybody were welcoming and warm. Kumily-vagamon and return: we had jeeps arranged, seated comfortably. It was a 1:30 hrz journey through the TwistyRoad. We got chances to take a dip in mini waterfalls or creeks. From that very moment, we started to feel the nature and enjoy the hills and its beauty. To the spot: it was a rough 15-20 minz hike to get to the spot. Amazing view of the hills, clouds were passing by showering us with gentle mists and cool winds blowing all the time. Camping: the tents were so good, no leaks, comfy and was a perfect place to rest without worrying about insects and leeches and rains. I guess it rained in the night, but i slept like a baby through that winds and rain. We were briefed about the etiquettes and set out for a small walk before the campfire. Campfire was truly wonderful, all the ice broken by that time. We were just enjoying the nature and the hills as a pack with some music and dance. Next day morning we woke up to a clear sunrise witnessing the beauty of flowing clouds through the mountains and warm sun trying to sneak through it and show us with some beautiful godrays. We also got a chance to hit the river for some splashes in this journey. Food: i was a little concerned about the food because of the remoteness of the place. But these guys proved me wrong. I never missed or craved for any other food, food served was so delicious and nothing to complain. So was the refreshments, kerala chai accompanied with some biscuits and muffins for evenings and mornings. Organisers: did i say organisers? Correct me.. FRIENDS.. yes, friends. Not for a single second they were acting lyk organisers, it was lyk camping with friends. Amazing people by heart. Sam, Sukanya, Berin and Chandru were always keeping us busy and not for a moment they made me felt like it was a planned trip. It was in such a smooth flow, no absurd breaks or disruption in this experience. Overall i am not being generous to give a 5 star rating because i personally had a great weekend. I did try to run through the whole trip in my mind to see if there was realy any point where i felt less interesting. Surprisingly not. Whoever it may be, how many ever people may go as a gang. I am sure they are going to enjoy as much as i did or more that i did. And that is why the 5 star rating. Amazing work guys, truly it was an experience of camping above the clouds. looking forward to join you for many trips to come.
Escaped to Vagamon with Exotic camp. Right from the start till coming back the care the hosts took was really amazing. Suganya and Bharathi (our hosts) kept us engaged in every single moment. The care they took to deliver maximum comfort to us was over whelming. About the place: Exotic camp delivered more than what they have committed in there itenary. Enjoyed the private water falls as long as we could. Midnight campfire. Sleeping in tent in the hill top. Above all thet restored my inner peace. Once you go with exotic camp then camping with them will become your habit.. I also got cool pics which I could cherish for so long. Special thanks to the hosts..
I usually dont prefer going through arranged travel agency trips....my friend insisted me on going through them....more than the exoticamp the place VAGAMON beckoned... I am unable to say thy are travel agency cos they are actually not..... Its like your new friends taking care of the trip for you... i was hesistant until I met them.... they are not the usual 0travel agency who have an agenda to follow strictly to do things by time.... I need my time to be leisurely do things at my own time and pace.... I want the vacation to do absolutely nothing.... and this where they come.... yes they leave u to urself to do nothing..... thy take care of ur food,stay and other things which u usually worry when u go out for... and thy are great hosts and they knw when to bring u up when too much of urself hits u.... lovely host they were.. Berin and Sukanya Suzuki!!!! They broke the streotypic travel arrangements.... and the places they choose is one of kind..... will I go again??? Its a definite Yes...... Will I recommend?? I am already nagging my friends to move theirs.....
My first camping experience and that too during New year's. I am so so so happy that I took this decision of camping with Exoticamp. I generally don't do reviews but this camp deserves it! Vagamon is breathtakingly beautiful and the fact that i could enjoy the nature to it best was because of the superb facilities organized by Vijay and team. The host were so friendly and make u very comfortable in the very first day of camping. I could not have asked for a better start of 2019! This trip is more about relaxing in your own space and enjoying new year as you want and Exoticamp lets you do that. Thanks again guys. I am looking forward to go on more camps with you all as undoubtedly you are the best! Feb 2019: I camped again with these guys this time with Suknaya and i loved it. Thank God i didn't miss out this one else i wudve regretted big time.Gandikota camping is a different experience and i realized I can explore more than i cud ever imagine. Highly recommend. Looking forward to camping again!
Felt awesome on camping at vagamon. With ten families that includes kids, all had fun and enjoyed. Food served was also good. Camp staff cared well. Experienced the best tent stay...
Honest review - It's my first ever camping experience in Kumily, Kerala with Exoticamp which made me feel exhilarated! Exoticamp and team organised well in an exceptional way. The gang of folks are all joyous and Very friendly which created a friendly environment all over the trip and have got a bunch of new friends!! Night walks, campfire stories etc. Just amazing! Coming to the food.. mmmm.. !! It's very delicious, outstanding and mouthwatering ! Couldn't unstick from that place. If you are looking for a adventurous travel and camping experience, you can opt for exoticamp without any 2nd thought! You will just get those magical moments and memories in your life! All my future camps will be with Energetic Exoticamp! And finally come and live in the moments of Exoticamp! (Peace Bro)
"It was indeed an escape from day today life. Lost in to the concept of vagamon and it's majestic beauty. The weather and waterfall experiences are definitely a mood booster. Exotic camps have provided a relaxing itinerary with decent food and camping experience. The organizer was pretty cool at driving the whole camp. I'd definitely recommend this to my friends and family to experience this breathtaking beauty without a miss. Shout out to those guys who have joined us in the trip and made it more amusing!!! Overall a safe trip loaded with fun and laughter!!
Beautiful location at Vagamon and very well planned. I loved how every need was met including toilets, water, food and even tea. The tents, campfire, the endless greenery view with rain made the trip very memorable. This was my first camping trip and I found it to be so much fun with Exoticamp. Bharathi and Roshana had a good amount of experience and guided us very well, and by the end of the trip, I got more friends. Exoticamp is doing a really good job at it. Looking forward to more trips with these people :)
It was an amazing experience of my lifetime. I wholeheartedly thank Exoticamp for providing me this opportunity to experience camping @ VAGAMON.. From the word go, it has been well organised. I did not expect meeting 17 strangers from different walks of life and feeling as though I was among friends. VAGAMON is a lush green place with breathtaking green plantations, clean air,and waterfalls and streams that provide a beautiful spot to kick back and relax. The guides made us feel very comfortable and were quite knowledgable about the location which added to the pleasantness. I strongly recommend exotic camp for solo woman travellers.
