It was always a dream for me and my friend to go on a camping trip but never expected it would turn out to be such a fun filled and memorable one. The tea breaks in VAN trip(lol), thekkady drive and the wild animals we saw(lol), jeep drive and my omlet spot (especially for my friends :P ), snacks from Krishnan sir(romba kadamai patrukom avaruku :P ), the beautiful falls and the hot food served nearby (saaptute kulikalam, kulichite saapdalam :D ), the thrilling ride to the camp site and the breathtaking view, the night hike and our selfie attempts in umbrella light(pic credits Saravanan), the constant rainfall at night pouring over our tents and the constant care by organisers to ensure our safety (romba police ah irukingale pa :P ), morning walks with our stupid""kaapathungaaa"" yells and organisers attempts to save us (unga akaaraiya paathu na kan kalangiten (:P ), bachaao talks :P and yummy kerala food, all were amazing. Lots of memories to cherish and remember in our first camping trip. Thanks a lot to Sukanya and Berin for making the trip a memorable one (evlo adichalum thangaranga..ivanga romba nallavanga :P )
We had gone to their Thekkady campsite. This was our first time with unknown people to a campsite and it was nice fun for us. the campsite was amazing with spectacular views, great home food, nice safari, spice garden etc.. Sam was a wonderful host and he made us feel comfortable and made the trip memorable.. All in all it was an adventure, fun, exciting and enjoyable looking forward to next camping.

I went on my first solo trip to Thekkady through Exoticamp. Throughout the trip, I felt safe and comfortable. It was an amazing experience. I met so many other solo travelers and we bonded quickly. The campsite was breathtaking. The morning view from above the clouds is something I will never forget in my life. We had so much fun. The dip in the infinity pool, the splashing in the waterfalls, Jeep ride and so much more made the trip memorable and amazing. Thanks to Exoticamp for organizing this. I 100% recommend Exoticamp to others and I'm definitely going to visit other campsites as well.
Fantasies don’t often come true but when it does the feeling is surreal. My experience was one of sorts where I wake up literally from my tent floating in the clouds of western ghats with patches of green between them. If you thought this is exaggeration you need to be at Exoticamp’s Thekaddy campsite on the slope of the hills. It definitely is breathtaking and deserves travel from wherever not just south of the country. Top this with beautiful bunglow as the backdrop to the campsite surrounded with plants of exotic fruits and herbs;fantastic host who loves feeding his guests delicacies created from his own farm & narrating stories and sharing trivia bringing smiles on everyones face.For the kids and adults alike a mini yet infinity pool(impromptu water ball games) was a perfect icing on the cake. If you want to relax and find your me time yet bump into some interesting people and come back home all smiles and satisfied you know this isnt a place you would ever want to miss!!An ideal short weekend getaway!!
I had booked for one night camping stay in Thekkady for celebrating one of my family members birthday over there. Exoticamp team members mainly Mr.Yunis and Mr. James were very friendly, cooperative and available over phone calls all the time while making arrangements for the event. Our event went awesome!! at one of the peaceful places in India. Cottage and Camping tent provided by the team were neat and secured. We were served tasty and quality food with love and affection. We made life time memories with the help of Exoticamp.

Went to the Thekkady camp with my wife and 2 boys (11 and 7 years). Overall, it was a very safe way to enjoy camping experience with ample fallback planned by Exoticamp for restrooms, weather-related challenges, food etc. Definitely will be going through Exoticamp for more such trips. Awesome host, great food, amazing place with mind-blowing views! We also enjoyed the short trek at the pug mark trail @ Periyar Reserve. Overall, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the trip which was the greatest satisfaction for me & my wife. The best way to enjoy the trip is to look forward to the experience itself (the stay in camping tents, meeting new people with varied passion, camp fire) but without any other expectations regarding the views/weather etc. Our host Sam managed to provide ample reasons to enjoy in spite of the hot weather during the day with makeshift pool for us to enjoy. We were planning for a dip in a waterfall/stream. It didn't materialize as planned but we still enjoyed skipping stones in an otherwise placid stream. Sam makes it a point there is enough flexibility in the plan as well as sufficient reasons to enjoy.

If all you want is to escape your chaotic life for a short time and enjoy a relaxing, yet adventurous and fun filled trip, you are looking at the right option. A perfect way to spend your weekend!! It was my first camping experience and now I am sure I will start doing this frequently. Loved the complete experience, especially stargazing :) The organizers are so friendly and make you feel very comfortable. If all your friends flop, you can even go alone and I am sure you will feel safe and not alone for even a moment, as you will also get to meet a lot of new exciting people. All the arrangements including food and other facilities were so good. A good trip should end with a heart full of joy and brain loaded with wonderful memories and this one surely did for me.
