Meghalaya(Nov 13-19): This trip is very close to my heart as i am surprised to see such clean and beautiful landscapes in India. Simply wow! Places and stay were awesome, Even if you are a solo traveller or likes to take road less travelled, (No one to interrupt ur photos!), then ‘Exoticamp’ is the only choice. Their itinerary is very unique and not a hectic one, as u can enjoy as vacation & sight seeing + trek. Amused to see one of the world’s cleanest river ‘Umngot’ which we can literally able to see underneath. Beautiful waterfalls everywhere to refresh ourselves thought out the trip. Most Favourite part is the trek to ‘Nongriat’ village and stayed with native people were awesome and we all closely attached with native tribal kids where we felt very emotional on last day of village as we about to leave. Above all, the fellow travellers(i.e Fans of exoticamp who travels for every camp) were very friendly and felt not like strangers. So over all, i found a budget friendly trip organiser & travel partners for my future trip/treks
Meghalaya has always been on my bucket list and Exoticamp made it an unforgettable memory. Starting from hassle free transport, wonderful stays, amazing places, a wonderful host Jerry, our ever energetic and sportive local guide Steve and what not, the list grows when I try to write about the trip. Our stay in Nongriat village which is super close to the double decker bridge always has a special place in my heart. We literally stayed in the water stream near the bridge on both the days we stayed there. A long trek will always end with a refreshing dip in a stream which makes it a wonderful memory. Steve was an energy bomb and his ever smiling nature made the whole group radiant and energetic. I should also mention about the people I travelled with. Without them the trip wouldn't have been this fun as well. A special mention to the itinerary for splitting the trek to rainbow falls into two days so that we don't tire off and also for making us travel all the way to Dawki the first day and not the other way around. It was an amazing experience travelling with Exoticamp and looking forward for more trips with them!!
"If Kerala is God's Own Country, then I'm Sure God's must be Vacationing in Meghalaya". It's Beautiful..! I am really grateful that I was part of the Meghalaya trek and would certainly recommend Exoticamp to anyone I know. This trip was very well organised and the guides and porters seemed really passionate about what they were doing. The team at Exoticamp, The host, guides and entire team continued to prove that they really do care about our experience. We had a beautiful views of the mountains and loved the cultural experiences included on the trip. We would do another trek simply because of them; they are extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and helpful. This is a fully supported thru-hike, which means that they provide guides, gear if needed, shuttles to/from the trailhead, and meals. Best Experience Ever...!
Travelled with exoticamp to Meghalaya recently and it was a once in a life time experience. The places were an absolute delight to the eyes and most places were not easily accessible(requires lot of trekking) which makes the experience even more fulfilling. I would definitely recommend exoticamp for anyone willing to join a group tour.
It was my first time camping and I took a leap of faith with Exoticamp on seeing all the reviews and posts from friends. I must say I am not disappointed, especially since I booked the Meghalaya trip. Expected the trip to be average since the location is remote and not much facilities are available, but it turned out to be a very memorable trip. The tent stay arrangements were decent enough and the homestays were really too good. Special thanks to our coordinator Jerry, and local guide Steve for making it seamless and fun overall. ????

Easily this was one of the best 7 days of our lives. We went to Meghalaya and it was well organized with amazing guides and super friendly host! The itinerary was well sorted with a mix of waterfalls trek camping and adventure activities. The food was amazed max and well planned for vegetarians too. Overall it was an awesome experience and highly recommend for all travel enthusiasts who have north east on their Bucket list
