We had a wonderful day trip from Chennai. Our family of 10 including a 5 year old with a fractured elbow were able to enjoy a day with nature, thanks to Sandeep and his team. We had to switch our plans from Adventure tour to Outdoor tour due to said fracture. Our day started with breakfast at Sricity, Sriharikota visit, Pulicat info center and lake visit to see the migratory birds, Bird Sanctuary visit for a spectacular closeup views of pelicans and open billed storks, boat ride along with a packed lunch, followed by afternoon at the camp including bike rides, a dip in the natural pool, farm visit and finally the highlight of the day, kayaking. Without Sandeep and IROC, we would have probably driven out to Pulicat lake and sanctuary, complained about the heat and headed back home saying there was nothing special to do. IROC instead made this a magical day for us - we learned a TON about the migratory birds, local terrain in the TN-AP border, rediscovered the simple joys of spending time outdoors as a family and many of us tried kayaking for the 1st time. Sandeep is incredibly energetic and knowledgeable - his passion for the outdoors and genuine interest in making sure all his clients had a memorable day and experience came through in every detail. He was super patient answering the gazillion questions that the 3 kids in our family asked him and he was especially helpful taking our 5 year old kayaking - they all had a wonderful time. I cannot wait for our next trip with him and IROC!
I had a very nice experience with the nature camping at Tada..cleanliness and hygiene are the best things to be appreciated..I felt like spending time in college trips and these people never showed them as strangers.
I preferred them for my first solo trip and to my expectation they made my camping experience comfortable and safe. The unique quality about Excoticamp is campers can have their our own time and space to explore things with the support of organizers. They are whole bunch of enthusiastic team who curate great camping experience.
We went to tada exotic camp during pongal weekend, this is our first camping as a family, glad we chose exotic camp. It was one awesome experience. Host Rishi took all of us in comfort with sports in evening followed by a simple but super dinner, real deal started with campfire (kinda icebreaker) followed by night walk into deep woods around 9pm guided by our host RISHI. All the five families were part of the night walk. The best thing about exotic camp is they take utmost care to maintain camping & travel completely in a non alcoholic and non smoking mode. Next day people were given option to go to a near by bird watching place early morning on their own. RISHI took rest of us to a beautiful check dam, where kids had a great time with catching snails and small crabs, it was one beautiful dam in middle of the forest yet close to camping site. After breakfast, we were taken to a falls nearby, to reach the falls we had to cross a twenty feet long flowing stream with more than 10 feet depth at certain points, all of us crossed the river by holding the rope tied at both the ends. This is the first time, I did something like this, that too took my 7 year old son along with me thru the rope. That serene falls really deserve these efforts to reach her, had a great time with family in falls for more than an hour, when we returned, our lunch was ready. Their way of food is really great, it is not about its spread but the quality and content of food was exactly what we would prefer. A big thumbs up from my end for Exoticamp and our host Rishi !!!
I have gone to Four of their camps - Munnar, Vagamon, Bunk on the beach - Kovalam & Tada Camp and all the camps with my toddler who is a year and half old. Their choice of locations are simply amazing. Being a woman with a toddler travelling I felt absolutely comfortable & safe. And their No Alcohol / No Smoking is a bonus for people travelling with ladies and kids. Keep up the good work guys. Kudos!!
