25 Nov 2025Craving a Himalayan adventure that packs in culture, nature, and just the right amount of thrill? This Darjeeling–Kalimpong–Rimbick circuit is your perfect 5-day escape.
This comprehensive 5-day 4-night trip offers incredible natural beauty and breathtaking views everywhere you look. You’ll start from Siliguri and head through peaceful monasteries, endless tea estates, forest trails, and the quiet village of Rimbick. Along the way, you’ll hit all the popular places.
Whether you join on a bike or hop into our comfy Tempo Traveller, everything from meals and stays to fuel, permits, and a relaxing massage is sorted. If you’re planning a Darjeeling itinerary for 5 days, trust us, this one’s pure magic and offers a hassle-free experience.
Your tour doesn’t stop at the well-known spots. You’ll visit Durpin Monastery in Kalimpong perched elegantly on a hill, it offers panoramic views, a tranquil atmosphere, and a peek into the local Buddhist way of life.
This iconic railway spiral is more than just an engineering feat. It’s a scenic viewpoint where the toy train chugs around in a graceful loop, framed by the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga and lush hills. It’s perfect for that classic holiday photo.
Situated near the highest railway station on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, Ghoom Monastery is a peaceful retreat. The prayer flags fluttering in cool mountain winds, the sound of chants, and the view of the hills make it a spiritual highlight of the trip.
Adjacent to the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda is a calm and meditative spot. Overlooking Darjeeling, it’s a great place to soak in breathtaking views and appreciate the calm within the hills.
Evening time means exploring Mall Road. Darjeeling's bustling heart. It’s where local life meets tourist charm: cafés, shops selling world-famous Darjeeling tea, handicrafts, and the warm chatter of people winding down after a day of sightseeing.
One of the lesser-known gems on this Darjeeling itinerary is the Srikhola Forest. It's a lush, green stretch of nature that gives you a break from the hill town hustle. Walks through this forested path are calming and rejuvenating.
As part of your day sightseeing, we'll drive you to Mirik Lake, a serene spot surrounded by rolling hills and tea estates. It’s perfect for boating, quiet conversations, or just taking in the scenic drive that connects Darjeeling to this gem.
On your way into Kalimpong or en route to Mirik, you’ll pass areas quite close to the Indo-Nepal Border, giving you a real sense of cross-border mountain culture. It’s a subtle adventure, one that adds to the region’s mystique.
Our Darjeeling tour package also includes a stop in Siliguri. That way, you can experience the bustling gateway town of Siliguri, known for its vibrant markets, tea gardens, and lively transit hub vibes. This city serves as a gateway to the hills. It's where you'll find busy markets and urban energy before heading to peaceful mountain destinations.
