Set out on a breathtaking Sikkim trip with Exoticamp, where every turn reveals lush greenery, snow-capped mountains, and untouched Himalayan charm.
This Sikkim tour package is carefully designed to give you a scenic journey through east Sikkim, north Sikkim, and west Sikkim. It covers all the popular destinations that define the spirit of Sikkim tourism.
Your Sikkim tour begins with a relaxed stroll along MG Marg, Gangtok’s charming, pedestrian-only street filled with cafés, souvenir shops, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It’s the perfect way to soak in the vibe of Gangtok town before your adventure begins.
Next, you’ll visit the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake), a glacial lake set at 12,300 ft. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, the lake changes colour with the seasons and offers a serene, picture-perfect setting. It’s one of the most iconic and popular destinations in East Sikkim.
A short scenic drive from Tsomgo Lake brings you to the famous Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, also called Old Baba Mandir, a sacred site dedicated to the legendary Indian Army soldier believed to watch over the region. The shrine blends folklore, devotion, and the high-altitude charm of East Sikkim.
If the necessary permits are granted and the weather is clear, we'll visit Nathula Pass on the same day. This historic pass is one of the highest motorable roads globally. It sits right on the Indo-China border. This pass was once a crucial part of the Silk Road, ancient trade route. You get to see the border gates and interact with personnel from the Indian army here.
Your journey continues to South Sikkim, where the towering Samdruptse Statue of Guru Padmasambhava stands overlooking the hills. The sheer scale of the structure and the peaceful surroundings make it a spiritually uplifting stop.
In Ravangla, you’ll explore the serene Buddha Park, home to a majestic 130-foot statue of Buddha. Framed by landscaped gardens and mountain views, it’s a beautiful blend of spirituality and unparalleled natural beauty.
Finally, at Thambi View Point, you'll enjoy a sweeping panoramic view of the winding Zuluk loops, deep valleys, and distant snow peaks.
This budget tour is comprehensive and handles most of your essential expenses. Here's a quick rundown of what your Sikkim packages cover:
Morning (11:00 AM): Our team meets you at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Station, welcoming you into the group with a quick, friendly briefing. Settle in as we begin a beautiful drive to Gangtok, winding through snow-capped mountains, small, quaint towns, and the teal-green Teesta River (popular for river rafting), and the first glimpse of the Himalayas sets the tone for the days ahead.
Afternoon (1:00 PM): Check in to your stay, refresh, and unwind.
Evening (5:00 PM): We ease into the local vibe with a relaxed MG Marg walk. You can café hop, browse boutiques and Tibetan handicrafts, enjoy local delicacies, and have conversations under twinkling street lights. It’s the perfect soft landing in Gangtok.
