About the campsite
Panrimalai is a tiny hill village located in the Western Ghats 45 kms from Dindigul & 60 kms east of Kodaikanal. Filled with coffee estates, fruit farms & patches of shola forest; Panrimal offers a much needed break from reality. The village is cocooned from the modern day hustle and bustle & Instagram travelers.

Our campsite in Panrimalai is set right beside a stream & circled by mountains. You could spend your day exploring numerous hiking trails, taking dips in fresh water streams & nondescript waterfalls. One could also spot wildlife like Sambar Deer, Indian Gaur, Dole etc. A Drive to Panrimalai is an exhilarating experience with almost zero vehicular movement along the Ghat section.
The campsite is well equipped with neat restrooms, electricity in common areas & functional kitchen. Campsite is completely non-alcoholic & serves only veg food.

If you are looking for an off the grid hill camping experience, Panrimalai would be a great choice.

Day 1
Noon:

Check In Finish breakfast in Dindigul & reach campsite by noon. Hike down to reach the camp.

Tent Pitching
Post arrival, finish welcome tea & pitch your tents and get your tent allocation

Stream Visit
Go for a stream walk against the water. Reach the Pool and take a refreshing dip. Then get back for a hot served Lunch

Night:

Campfire
Finish evening snacks & settle down for a campfire session

Day 2
Morning:

Farm Walk
Wake-up, finish breakfast & go for a walk around the farm and into the woods

Noon:

Check Out Return to the campsite and check out. You can opt for an additional meal at a cost of Rs.150/head & extend your check-out time till 2.00 pm

Waterfalls Visit
On your way back you could go on a self-explored visit to a waterfalls. The co-ordinates will be provided by our camp hosts

Important Note:

Only Veg food served in the campsite.

Parking at the base in open space and have to hike down to reach the camp.

Our campsite is located is an un-invaded area and we are located just adjacent to the river stream, there will be leeches during monsoon time while reaching the campsite. But not to worry, we have leech proof socks and have taken remedies to  keep leeches away from camping area.

We have a very strict no-alcohol and no-drug policy at our campsite. Guests who are seen consuming alcohol or in an inebriated state will be expelled. Any money paid at the campsite will have to be forfeited. 

The last 3 kms to the campsite is off-road. You can either hike to the campsite or reach by an off-road jeep (Rs.800 one way)

You can opt for an additional lunch on Day 2 @ Rs.150/head & check-out post lunch. To be informed ahead to the camp host

Cancellation Policy:

  • 75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
  • No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
  • Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
  • In case of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, an option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
  • Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

How to get here?
-Campsite is located 45 kms from Dindigul. There are local buses from Dindigul to Panrimalai (Local buses for Dindigul are available at limited frequency. Bus timings @ 5.15 AM, 5.20 AM, 5.30 AM and 10.30 AM)
-Nearest Railway Station is Dindigul.
-There are buses & trains reaching Dindigul from Chennai, Madurai, Trichy & Bangalore
-You can also drive to the campsite (exact map will be provided along with your confirmation email)
