About the campsite

Tucked away from the hustle & bustle of Mysore, located right on the banks of River Cauvery our ‘Cauvery River Camp – Near Mysore’ offers a perfect escape from the city life.

The campsite is surrounded by water on three sides & lush green Jungle on the other side. The campsite is just a 30 kms drive from Mysore & 150 kms from Bangalore.

You could spend your day swimming in the river (with life jackets), go on coracle rides, go hiking into the jungle or just sit back sip tea and appreciate the greenery around. The campsite is also a bird watcher’s paradise. If you are looking for a perfect weekend spot from Bangalore & Mysore, here’s your option.

The campsite is well equipped with neat washrooms, a fully functional kitchen & common dining space. One could also indulge in fishing & go on a coracle ride at an additional cost.

Bird Spotting
Wake-up finish tea & explore the campsite. You could also spot a lot of native birds

River Dip
Strap on to life jackets & go swimming in the river. Return to the campsite for breakfast

75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
In case of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, an option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

The campsite is tucked away & the last 500 mts to the campsite is off-road (mud road). Our camp host / staff will assist in reaching.

You can order dinner from the restaurant at the campsite. Restaurant timing 7 AM-10 PM
Campfire will be a common campfire.
Coracle ride is chargeable at Rs.100/person
Barbeque can be availed – Rs. 700 for the first chicken and Rs. 500 for every added (Our special marinated chicken, Stand, salad and barbeque equipment)
All our tents will be set up facing the waters, each tent is with a king size foam mattress.

The itinerary given could change depending on weather / local conditions. Activity timings may be switched.

How to get here?

The campsite is located 30 Kms from Mysore & 150 Kms from Bangalore.
You can either drive / ride to the campsite or take a bus / train to Mysore and from there cabs could be availed.

Pickup from Mysore could be arranged at an additional cost. Cost depends on no.of people in a vehicle. Contact the host post booking for assistance.
