Day 1
Morning:

Transfer
Reach Dehradun & proceed to Sari village by taxi / van. The drive is about 8 hours. The scenic drive follows the rivers Ganga, Alaknanda, and Mandakini, passing through Devprayag. Arriving in the charming Sari village, nestled at 2,012 meters, explore its 100 houses and engage with the locals to understand their traditional values and way of life.

Day 2
Morning:

Hiking
After breakfast, embark on the trek from Sari village to Deoriatal. The well-maintained trail unfolds through rocky terrain, passing houses and a temple. As you ascend, catch glimpses of Chandrashila Peak and Tungnath Temple. Discover the forest department's Hawa Ghar, a resting spot with panoramic views. The trail transforms with Rhododendrons and Maple trees, providing shade and valley views. Descend to Deoria Tal, a serene lake surrounded by blooming flowers and Himalayan birds. Explore the area with a majestic panorama of mountains, including Mt. Chaukhamba. Set up tents, enjoy a hot lunch, and conclude the day with dinner amidst nature.

Day 3
Morning:

Embark on a 3 km trek from Deoriatal to Sari village, followed by a 20 km taxi ride to Chopta via Rohini Bugyal, spanning 5-6 hours. Traverse a captivating forest of Rhododendrons and Maple, with fallen leaves creating a soothing trail sound. Emerging from the forest reveals the grandeur of Chandrashila Peak. Ascend for panoramic valley views at JhandiDhar ridge, followed by a descent through the dense Chopta forest teeming with wildlife. Explore Rohini Bugyal's picturesque meadow with views of Kedardome and Kala Parvat peaks. Cross the ridge, re-enter a forest, and ascend to a meadow overlooking huts, signaling arrival at the Chopta campsite. Set up camp, savor dinner, and bask in the serene ambiance of Chopta.

Day 4
Morning:

Begin your trek from Chopta to Tungnath and Chandrashila Summit at 4:30 am. Covering 8 km in a 6-7 hour journey on foot, the steep yet cemented trail leads to Tungnath, a PanchKedar temple with a rich mythological history. Continue to Chandrashila for a gradual ascent, taking approximately 1 hour, and be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Kumaon and Garhwal mountains, including Gangotri ranges, Jahankut, Chaukhamba, and Kedardome. Descend to Chopta through the same route, appreciating the quicker return journey on the cemented trail. This trek not only challenges physically but also unfolds the spiritual essence of the region, creating a truly rewarding experience.

Day 5
Morning:

Transfer
Bid farewell to the Chopta camp after breakfast as you commence a scenic drive covering 220 km from Chopta to Haridwar via Rishikesh and then Dehradun . The journey unfolds over 9-10 hours, providing ample time to soak in the picturesque landscapes. Anticipate reaching Rishikesh between 5:45 pm to 6:00 pm and Haridwar from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. and followed by we will drop you at Dehradun. (Drop locations: Rishikesh, Haridwar, and followed by Dehradun)

- Double / Triple sharing basis of tents throughout the trek.
- All the trek equipment will be included like a sleeping bag, kitchen & dining tent, utensils, mattress, tent, toilet tent, and crampon (if needed)

  • Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the trek
  • The trek takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites

Cancellation Policy:

  • 75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
  • No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
  • Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
  • In case of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, an option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
  • Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days
