About the campsite

Nestled amidst the towering peaks of Palani Hills, this little piece of heaven offers an astounding view. Located deep inside a pear orchard far away from the touristy crowd of Kodai, spend your day sipping hot lemon tea, appreciating the majestic valley view the campsite offers. After sundown, you could lie on the rocks & count billion stars. Minimum light pollution around the campsite makes for a magical stargazing experience. You could also go pears plucking (seasonal) & visit a nearby waterfalls.

The campsite is fully equipped with neat washrooms, a fully functional kitchen & back-up dorms for extreme weather events.

Day 1

Noon:

Check In Check-in to the campsite at 12 noon followed by lunch

Waterfalls Visit
Post lunch, explore the campsite & start on a 2 hr hike to a waterfalls

Night:

Campfire
Return from the hike, finish snacks and settle down for a fun campfire session

Stargazing
Post campfire, finish dinner, lay down on the grass bank and indulge in DIY stargazing through Sky Map / Sky View app. Zero light pollution & crisp sky makes for a magical stargazing experience

Day 2

Noon:

Check Out Wake-up to the sight of cloud-filled valley as you enjoy a hot lemon tea. Take a stroll around the pear orchard, relax for a bit, finish breakfast & check-out by 11.00 noon

75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
Incase of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

How to get here?

Campsite is located around 15 Kms from Kodaikanal. There are buses to Kodai from Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore & other major southern towns. From Kodaikanal cab pick up could be arranged at an additional cost. There are also govt. run buses to the campsite from Kodai
Nearest railway station is Kodai Road and from there, there are frequent govt buses & cabs to Kodaikanal (3 - 4 hrs drive)
