About the campsite

Located just 300 Kms from Bangalore & 150 Kms from Mysore, Paithalamala is an untouched hill station in the Kannur district of Kerala. Perched at an altitude of 1372m above sea level; Paithalamala is the highest point in Kannur district.
Wedged between the Western Ghats of Kerala & Karnataka; in the fringes of Kodagu Forest; Paithalamala is a popular trekking destination great for Summer & Monsoon Trekking and Camping.
Our campsite is located inside a fully equipped wellness resort.
The camp overlooks Nagarhole Tiger Reserve offering a fantastic view of the tropical forest. The campsite is also filled with native flora & fauna. One can easily spot Malabar Grey Hornbills and other native birds.
The campsite has a fully functional restaurant, a cool lounge area overlooking the mountains, a private cattle farm, in-camp private waterfalls & stream and a slew of indoor games.
If you are tired of going on weekend trips to mainstream destinations like Wayanad & Coorg and are looking for an off-beat yet enthralling destination; Paithalmala would be a great fit.

Noon:

Check In Check-in to the campsite by 3.00 pm, get your tents allocated & Enjoy the welcome drink

Farm Walk
Explore the campsite, visit the in-farm cattle area and check-out native cattle and birds

Night:

Campfire
Finish evening snacks, relax at our lounge area for a while and assemble for a campfire and music session

Stargazing
Finish dinner and indulge in DIY stargazing through the Skyview/Skymap app

Day 2

Morning:

Hiking
Wake-up early, finish morning tea and start trekking to Paithalamala Peak

Noon:

Waterfalls Visit
Return from the trek, finish breakfast and hike down to our private stream / waterfalls for a refreshing dip

Check Out Return from the stream, freshen-up and check-out of the campsite with fond memories

No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
In case of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, an option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

How to get here?

The Campsite is accessible by Cars & Two Wheelers.
One can also reach Mysore / Calicut / Kannur by train and take a cab to the campsite.
The campsite is 6 hrs drive from Bangalore & 4 hrs from Mysore.
Transportation from Kannur/Bangalore/Mysore can be arranged at an additional cost on request.
