Welcome to Milkyway Glamping, where you get to spend your holiday staying in a unique glass Glamping tents & huts (for the first time in South India). Get a stunning view of setting sun against the Western Ghats, star-filled sky, ever glowing moon all from the comforts of your Glass Glamping Tent.

This beauty of a Glamping site is located in the Idukki district of Kerala, an hour from Thekkady & Kumily. The campsite offers the right mix of luxury camping & hardcore outdoor stay experience making it suitable for families & wanderlusts alike.

Day 1

Noon:

Check In Check-in to the site at 3.30 pm followed by welcome drink

Sunset Hike
Watch a breathtaking sunset from your cabin over high-tea

Night:

Campfire
Assemble for a Campfire & Music session followed by dinner

Stargazing
Less light pollution makes for a brilliant stargazing experience either from your cabin or from the grass bank. Download Sky View / Sky map app for a DIY stargazing experience

Day 2

Morning:

Hiking
Wake-up early and head-out for a sunrise hike

Check Out Enjoy hot tea and sumptuous breakfast enjoying the valley view. Post breakfast check-out by 11.00 noon

Bikes, Cars & Public Transport (Bus + Jeep)

Cottage allocation:
Based on your booking count and availablity the Glass cabin or Tower house or Frame cabin will be allocated. Call us before making the booking.
Glass cabin (2+1pax); Frame cabin (big-6pax, small-3pax); Tower house (4pax).

Jeep Pick-up:
Jeep could be arranged at an additional cost of Rs.1100/Jeep (one way) to drop you at campsite. Jeep could accomodate 7 people.

Also Jeep can be arranged for pickup from Kumily in the morning, take you to a seasonal private waterfalls (Basic change room available) and bring you to the campsite. (additional cost)

On day 2 the same Jeep can take you to off-road safari and any preferred lunch place then onto Periyar Tiger Reserve either for lake visit / safari on foot depending on availability and drop you back in the evening at Kumily. (additional cost)

Cancellation Policy:

75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
Incase of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

1) Drive to the campsite on your own Bike, Car.
2) You can also reach Kumily from Bangalore, Coimbatore, etc, by bus and avail jeep pickup to camp spot & back at Rs. 1100/Jeep (one way) - Accommodates 7 ppl
3) Nearest Airports are Kochi & Madurai. Nearest Railway stations are Kottayam & Madurai
