About the campsite
Munnar Deep Forest Camping - Embrace Nature!

With holidaying in resorts & visiting the usual tourist circuit becoming mainstream, camping stays in Munnar are fast becoming sought after. Exoticamp's Munnar Deep Forest Camping site is situated 30 Kms from the main town of Munnar far away from the tourists.

The campsite is located on the banks of the beautiful lake set against the backdrop of rolling tea plantations, shola forests & mountain peaks. This breath-taking campsite also houses tree houses. The tents are set on high-raised wooden platforms with private patios (smaller balconies), allowing campers to savor the panoramic view with ample privacy. Offering spectacular views & surrounding water, this Munnar tent stay serves as a relaxing retreat.

The campsite is fully equipped with neat washrooms, a fully functional kitchen & basic electricity. There are also beautiful tree-top a viewing platforms taking adventure camping in Munnar to another level altogether.

Go on a refreshing nature walk. Sit around the campfire under a billion stars in cold weather. Sit on tree-top watch towers, spot birds & wildlife, grab a book with a cup of black tea or just do nothing & relax.

You will also be served a yummy dinner, hot kattan chaai (Black Tea) & a sumptuous breakfast.

Packed with the right amount of adventure, comfort, & spectacular views, this would easily rank as one of the best tent stays in Munnar.

Rolling emerald green tea plantations, interspersed with blue lakes, towering peaks & evergreen shola forests; Munnar is straight out of a picture frame. If Kerala is God's own country; Munnar would be the sanctum. Located at an altitude of 1532 Meters in the Idukki district of Kerala, Munnar is one of the most popular hill stations in South India. Munnar is home to numerous waterfalls, majestic peaks, hiking trails, rich flora & fauna making it a perfect destination for wildlife spotting, bird watching, jungle camping & adventurous treks.

With camping in Kerala becoming a must-do activity amongst adventure enthusiasts across the country; Munnar tent camping should be on top of the must-do list.

We had been as part of our company outing to Exoticamp(Munnar Deep Forest Camp) in Munnar (27th May 2023). The experience here was truly thrilling and a memory to cherish for long. The experience was new to us and the forest hiking was really good. The hospitality of the team was simply great and did their best to make each one of us comfortable. It would be unfair to not mention the quality of the food. It was really yummy and suited each one of us. The campfire was a nice way to wind up our otherwise very wonderful day.

My first ever camping trip was with Exoticamp and it definitely felt like a breeze. The itinerary was perfect with the right amount of activities each day. The host is super friendly and is a pleasure to be around with. The food was impeccable, it was made with extreme care and love and it did feel like home. Thanks to Yunis and his boys! However, the the first day of the camp was not organised too well and the travelers were not kept informed of what the plan for the day was. But it was managed well.If you're on a budget and want to experience camping then Exoticamp is your go-to place :)
