With holidaying in resorts & visiting the usual tourist circuit becoming mainstream, camping & glamping stays in Munnar are fast becoming sought after. Exoticamp's The Jungle Glamping site is situated 7 Kms from the main town Munnar far away from the touristy side.

The Jungle Glamp, Munnar is situated 5700 ft above sea level and spread across 28 acres of land inside the jungle. The luxury campsite is situated 7Km from Munnar town of which 4Km is off-road passing through the tea plantation and dense forest. The only way to get there is by jeep.

Offering spectacular views of dense sholas & deep valleys and often surrounded by mist, this campsite serves as a relaxing retreat.
The Jungle Glamp is designed in such a way that one gets to experience the raw and rustic feel of the jungle.
Go on a jungle hike, visit 5 viewpoints located within the property, enjoy playing in-house games like badminton, archery & other board games, sit around the campfire under a billion stars in cold weather or just sit back and relax in African-styled luxury safari tents.

Day 1
Noon:

Check In Reach Munnar & get picked up by the campsite jeep (near Alibaba & 41 Dishes Restaurant). Call the camp host 45 mins prior to reaching the pick-up point.

Jeep Safari.
Go on a thrilling off-road jeep ride through tea plantation & jungle to the campsite

Viewpoint Visit
Get your tent allotted, relax for a while & go on a nature walk to the tea plantation view point.

Sunset View
Soak in the sunset view for some time and wait for the stars to pop out

Night:

Campfire
Enjoy a campfire under the stars (subject to weather) followed by Dinner

Day 2
Morning:

Sunrise Hike
You can watch the sunrise from the tents and also from the dedicated sunrise viewpoint. By 7:00am assemble for trekking and head to 180 and 360 degree viewpoints (optional activities).

Noon:

Nature Walk
Finish breakfast and explore the campsite. Play in-house games like badminton, archery & other board games

Please note:

  • The Earliest Jeep pick-up time is 1.00 pm. The last Jeep pick-up time is 5.00 pm
  • Jeep pick-up point: Alibaba & 41 dishes restaurant (Munnar town)
  • Pre-order lunch in advance before arrival
  • Pregnant ladies and people with back pain are requested to avoid
  • No Room service available. Can order and have at the restaurants only. 
  • Max capacity in a tent is 2 Adult +1 child+infant(below 5) or 2+1 extra adult
  • Complementary for Child age upto 5. From age 6-11 without extra bed its Rs.1000.

Accessible By:
The luxury campsite is situated 7Km from Munnar town of which 4km is off-road passing through the tea plantation and dense forest. The only way to get there is by jeep.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
  • No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
  • Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
  • In case of govt. imposed lockdowns / Covid disruptions, an option to reschedule booking to any other date within a year will be given. No refund will be issued.
  • Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days 
  • Kids age bracket 6 - 10 yrs (Below 5 free of cost)

Please ensure to check in before 5:00 pm since you will be transferred by jeeps through a narrow tea plantation channel.
Please call around 45 minutes before reaching Munnar Town to the camp host number for smooth Jeep transfers.

Children below 05 years can share their parent’s bed on a complimentary basis

Extra person / child above five years will be charged at Rs.2500/person

How to get here?
Reach Munnar (Alibaba & 41 Dishes restaurant) & take our off-road Jeep transfer (complimentary).

The nearest airport is Kochi which is 120 Kms away. One can take a cab from Kochi to Munnar & it will take close to 3 Hours. The second closest airport is Madurai which is 150 Kms away. A drive to Munnar from Madurai takes around 4 hours.

Munnar is well connected by road from Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai & major towns of Kerala. If you are wondering about roads, there is also a newly laid road from Bodimettu (Tamil Nadu) & driving through the road is a dream.

People taking public transport can take a bus to Munnar bus stand and 3mins walk to the jeep pickup location.
