With holidaying in resorts & visiting the usual tourist circuit becoming mainstream, camping stays in Munnar are fast becoming sought after. Exoticamp's Wild Munnar Camping site is situated 25 Kms from main town Munnar far away from the the touristy side.

The campsite is located just below Meeshapulimala (one of the highest peaks). Perched amidst forests & tea estates; this breathtaking campsite overlooks Kolukumalai - India's highest organic tea estate. Offering spectacular views of dense sholas & deep valleys and often surrounded by mist, this Munnar tent stay serves as a relaxing retreat.

The campsite is fully equipped with neat washrooms, fully functional kitchen, basic electricity & inhouse games. There is also a beautiful hammock set-up right at the hill's edge and a viewing platform taking adventure camping in Munnar to another level altogether.

You will also be served yummy dinner, bbq, hot kattan chaai (Black Tea), soup over campfire & a sumptuous breakfast.

Packed with the right amount of adventure, comfort, & spectacular views, this would easily rank as one of the best tent stays in Munnar. If Meeshapulimala camping is in your bucket list & you don't want to run around for options, then this is the campsite to be.

Rolling emerald green tea plantations, interspersed with blue lakes, towering peaks & evergreen shola forests; Munnar is straight out of a picture frame. If Kerala is God's own country; Munnar would be the sanctum. Located at an altitude of 1532 Meters in Idukki district of Kerala, Munnar is one of the most popular hill stations in South India. Munnar is home to numerous waterfalls, majestic peaks, hiking trails, rich flora & fauna making it a perfect destination for wildlife spotting, bird watching, jungle camping & adventurous treks.

a month ago Initially booked exoticamp by randomly searching. Did not expect much. But never expected this much professionalism and very well organised structure for the price they offer. Have been two places so far Exoticamp so far. Munnar and Coorg. The food, the guide, the camping spots.. everything is perfect. Carried back home more memories to cherish! The policy of no smoking and no drinking, makes it a perfect haven for Family & solo male/female travellers. Highly Recommended!!
