We went as a group of 3 and were fairly new to Kayaking. Didn't have a lot of expectations at first. But it turned out to a superb trip. +ves The location is beautiful, both the camp as well as the backwaters. The organizers there are very helpful, taught us kayaking patiently The kayaking itself was very pleasant, lots of spaces to explore; we took the morning kayaking also The weather in Dec / Jan is excellent; mild winds with chilly, misty mornings 5 hour drive from Chennai -ves The last half kilometer to reach the camp was a challenge to drive in as the road was very narrow The food was not bad, but not great either Overall, an excellent place to go as a group.

All camping sites are very tempting from Exotic Camp. The stay was pleasant, Host were stupendous, activities were relaxing and splendid. I was very exited to meet all the like minded people who join the camp.

Located near Chidambaram, situated well away from the noise of city,went with 6 of my buddies. Super friendly staff, with experience and proper instructions and provided safety gear. Had all amenities listed very clean and big bathrooms , charging ports, water dispenser. Very tasty homemade food couldn't be any better. Enjoyed kayaking even in the off season. Cool Breeze and sunset, the staff even clicked pictures for us. Had two cute dogs very friendly. Very great for sky gazing,bonfire was amazing,all you can hear are birds and fishes jumping in river. Great for families, beginners, with friends. Overall an 10/10 experience. Highly recommended.??
