About the campsite

One of nature’s finest creations in the world is Kashmir. The picturesque valley with intense beauty and varied landscape – pristine lakes, colossal mountains and glaciers, raging rivers, and unexplored valleys with their unparallel beauty make it picture perfect.

It is the uppermost alpine region of north India and has names like ‘The Last Shangri-la. The Moghuls referred to it as a ‘paradise on earth, and it is rightly called ‘Heaven on earth these days. The four seasons are extravagantly beautiful with colourful grasslands, trout-filled crystal clear lakes, Shrines, temples, rich history, and culturally and ethnically diverse people have something to offer to every traveler and adventure seeker. The art and craftsmanship of Kashmiris have a rich heritage and their handicrafts are brought and given as precious gifts around the world.

The Summer capital of the state is Srinagar on the lap of the serene Jhelum River with Dal and Nagin lake to enhance its picturesque setting, Be it on foot, bike, raft, or kayak, the place has surreal wild places to explore and this land has something where you could find your adventure and solitude.

Day 1

Morning:

Transfer
Arrival in Srinagar and transfer to Dal lake houseboat.

Dal lake shikara ride
Check in at the houseboat in Dal Lake. Dinner and stay at the houseboat for the night. Relax and unwind at the houseboat and head out for a shikara ride to witness the evening sunset.

Day 2

Morning:

Explore Gulmarg
Post breakfast you would drive down towards Gulmarg which is around a 3-hour drive based on weather and snow conditions. Explore the meadows of Gulmarg. Enjoy a cable car ride (gondola) up to phase 2 (should be booked in advance online). You could head out for a fun Ski session based on the snow conditions. Head back to the Srinagar hotel for the night.

Day 3

Morning:

Explore Sonamarg
Post breakfast you would start the day early and it' s a 3-hour drive towards Sonamarg based on the snow conditions and traffic at NH1D. Gagangir is about 10km from Sonamarg and it is the last village accessible as Sonamarg is closed during the winter and inaccessible by road. If Sonamarg is open at the time of arrival, we can explore Sonamarg. Return to Srinagar hotel for the night.

Day 4

Morning:

Sight Seeing
We make an early morning start today and head towards Pahalgam, it’s a 4-hour ride based on the snow conditions and traffic. You would spend the evening exploring places around Pahalgam. Stay in Pahalgam/Aru Valley hotel for the night depends on snow condition and Road access.

Day 5

Morning:

Hiking
Aru serves as a base camp for trekkers going towards popular trails during summer months like Kolahoi glacier, Tarsar-Marsar Lakes and Katrinag valley. Based on the snow conditions, we would choose the best accessible route for a day hike in Aru valley. Experience winter at its best in the Aru valley. Head back to the stay at Pahalgam/Aru Valley by evening.

Day 6

Morning:

Transfer
Post breakfast, It is time to bid adieu to Kashmir and head to the airport for your flight back home with an enriched experience and memories of a lifetime.

You can pay 7,000 + 5% GST non-refundable advance and block your slots. Remaining amount could be paid 10 days before the event.

Cancellation Policy:

50% refund for all cancellations done 15 days before the date of stay
No refund for cancellations within 15 days from the date of stay
Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days
Incase of govt. imposed lockdowns or cancellation due to bad weatehr full refund minus 10% (GST + Service Charge) will be made

Included in the price:

Meals (Breakfast and dinner) - A limited decent spread of Indian food would be served for breakfast, dinner & anything else ordered apart from the spread should be paid for by the customer.
Accommodation in double/triple-bedded rooms in hotels/Guest houses/Houseboats/homestays as mentioned in the itinerary (or similar category hotels).
Taxi tours in Innova as per the package opted, transfers, sightseeing tours and surface transportation as indicated in the itinerary.
Accommodation in handpicked hotels is chosen to suit your comfort, needs and convenience of location.
Guide services for the hike at Aru & Nilnag at Yusmarg.
One-hour shikara ride, if you opt for more time, it would be at an additional cost. Kindly contact us.

Cost Excludes:

Entry fees at destinations, Airfares, airport taxes, entrance fees at any point of interest, and anything not mentioned in the inclusions in the itinerary.
Lunch, Tea, coffee, mineral water, tips, and transfers are not mentioned in the itinerary.
Doctor, telephone, laundry and other personal expenses.
Cost of personal emergency exit or expenses due to external factors such as climatic conditions.
Travel Insurance. Gondola cable car fee at Gulmarg (Online booking should be made by you, kindly book 20 days in advance. We will share you the details).
Any other activities like skiing, sledge rides, rafting, parasailing, or any other adventure activities that are not mentioned in the itinerary.
Horse riding or any other fun activity at Pahalgam, Aru, Gulmarg, Doodhpatri, Yusmarg, & Sonamarg. If you wish to go on horse rides, it would be on direct payment.
Vehicle to Betaab valley, Chandanwari or Aru Valley from Pahalgam, if opted to visit these places it would be on direct payment.

Note:
The package is desiged for three sharing basis. If you wish to avail two sharing please contact us upfront and pay additional Rs. 3500. So we can block the rooms accordingly.

How to get here?

Package starts from Srinagar & ends at Srinagar. Reach Srinagar on your own by flight & we would be picking you up.

Reach Srinagar airport by 11:30am on Day 1.
Book return flight after 4pm on day 6.
