About the campsite

Kanthalloor is a beautiful village nestled in the eastern slopes of Western Ghats. With velvety tea plantations, rolling hills, beautiful waterfalls & sprawling fruit farms, Kanthalloor has all the ingredients to be the next popular hill retreat in Kerala. Located between Udumalapet & Munnar in Idukki district of Kerala Kanthalloor offers a perfect off-beat escape to city dwellers.
Our campsite in Kanthalloor is located amidst towering hills & a picturesque little pond. You could spend your day fishing, going on off-beaten hikes to breathtaking view points, explore hidden waterfalls, enjoy watching monsoon clouds pass-by and get drenched to your heart's content.
This would be a fantastic weekend spent on nature's lap completely shielded from the outside chaos.

Day 0

Night:

Start
Start from Chennai around 7.00 PM (if opted for our transport)

Day 1

Morning:

Check In Reach Udumalapet, refresh and have breakfast (on you). Post breakfast, start towards the campsite & checkin at 11.00 noon

Noon:

Waterfalls Visit
Freshen up & go on an off-road jeep ride to a waterfalls

Stream Visit
Return to the campsite for lunch. Post lunch explore the campsite for a while and hop on to the jeep again for a fruit farm visit

Sunset Hike
From the fruit farm, head to a lemon grass hill for a breathtaking sunset overlooking Anaimudi peak

Night:

Campfire
Post dinner, enjoy a warm campfire under starlit sky

Day 2

Morning:

Fishing
Wake-up to a lazy morning tea, finish breakfast & indulge in some fishing.

Noon:

Waterfalls Visit
Post breakfast go on guided hike to a waterfalls or a Stream

Check Out Finish lunch, check-out & head back to your respective destinations

Cancellation Policy:

75% refund for all cancellations done 7 days before the date of stay
No refund for cancellations within 7 days from the date of stay
Booking dates cannot be transferred / rescheduled
Incase of govt. imposed lockdowns full refund minus 10% (GST + Service Charge) will be made
Refunds if any will be credited to the source account in 7 working days

How to get here?

1) Drive down to the camp spot on your own. We shall share location.
2) You can avail transport arranged by us from Chennai to Camp spot and back at an additional cost.
3) You can reach Udumalapet by bus on your own and avail Jeep pick up and drop at an additional cost of 500 per person.

This Off-beat Camping at kanthaloor is ???? Loved The location, it is such a treat to the eyes. Have you ever woken up to the sound of birds chirping? By just walking around the camp, we sighted atleast 10+ types of birds. The sight from our tents still lives rent-free in my mind. We trekked a few more mere kilometers through the hefty forest uphill to witness an absolutely gorgeous waterfall. The team of hosts cannot be more welcoming and warm. Kudos to our host Vijay for making it more fun!!
